My family & I went to the Manila Ocean Park last Sunday. I was able to take a lot of photos; mostly fuzzy, though. Blame it to the fact that flash photography is not allowed, plus there are hordes of people wandering around taking pictures in every nook and cranny. And the fishes, god, they swim so fast. Ugh. Forgive me for showing only two fish photos. I swear these two are the best of the bunch. The rest are utterly unfocused.
I forgot the name of this fish. Pathetic me.
This one is called the Lipstick Ray. Why? Because its lips are overly pouty.
See? Flash photography isn't allowed. The camera's flash causes undue stress to the animals and it can also cause heart attack. Should you disobey this rule, your phone/camera will be confiscated. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
My beloved siblings.
Depth of field? Hahaha.
My sister & her Manila Ocean Park band. I have one, too. :)
So that's pretty much it. I know I should be condemned. (For what?) I do not know. I'm lunatic. Have you noticed? Ugh. I heard you. Okay. Good night. Nah. It's 1am. Good morning.
Summer's so boring. Everyday, I wake up at around 1 pm, then I eat, then have a date with Jet, my laptop (yeah, that's his name and I don't know why the hell I presumed he's a "he" and not a "she". You know, men can be really dim-witted; Jet is undoubtedly not.) We usually wind up our date before I sleep and that's usually around 1 in the morning. I know I'm pathetic. I shouldn't wonder if my back aches often. Can't I make my day more productive? :|
Anyway.
God. I don't know what I'll say next.
Ugh.
Oh yes.
It's the rainy season. I loathe rain. Rain begets cold weather, getting stranded, traffic, and nostalgia. Ergo, I HATE it.
Yesterday, we were on our way someplace when it started pelting down. Great. However, I wasn't really vexed because it actually gave me time to take some rain's-not-really-detestable-at-all photos. :))
I'm not paid to endorse McDonald's, but hey, ich liebe es! :)
When you get too preoccupied with ordinary things, you fail to see the beauty of life.
Take things slowly. You've got all the time in the world.
Good things come for those who wait.
Don't be decieved by what you see.
I just love that last photo. Those circles are actually raindrops. So nice, isn't it? :)
Anyway, it's getting late. I'd like to say thank you to Apple & Sabrina for plugging my blog. I didn't tell them to do that, but they did. I was really touched. Thanks guys! And for all those who keep on voting for me and showering me with accolades, thank you so much. What else can I say? Keep voting! Haha. Seriously, thanks a lot.
Au revoir. :)
P.S. I have a new digital camera. He has no name yet. :) The photos in this entry were captured with him. (Wtf? So my camera's a HE again?) Hahaha.
P.P.S. My qblog is once again updated. Go ahead, check it out, and be nosy ask me more. :)
I frequent Manila, but it's actually staying there that can make one realize & discover a lot of things. During my one month stay there (I had my practicum in NCMH, I reckon I've mentioned this in my earlier post), I was able to ascertain many things. I'll share you some of it:
1. If you're aboard a bus, it will take you 65 minutes to get from Shaw Boulevard to Cubao. (Sobrang tagaaaal.) 2. There are some tricycle drivers in Mandaluyong who wear pink panties. Seriously. 3. Not all taxi drivers know every place in Metro Manila. My friend took a cab and informed the driver to take her to Tiendesitas and the driver told her he didn't know that place. 4. Should you want to go to an unair-conditioned mall, visit Starmall. I swear it's sweltering hot in there. I also strongly advise you to bring your own portable aircons with you; well, if there's such a thing. 5. I didn't know that it won't cost you more than 20 bucks to ride a train. Haha. Honestly, I've taken the MRT twice: the first one was four years ago; the second one was last month.
That's it. (Yun lang?)
By the way, before I doze off, I want to inform you guys that I'm a semi-finalist in this year's Candy Blog Awards. Is there a sense in waiting? We are all waiting. For someone. For something.
Question is: Is IT worth it? Is HE/SHE worth it?
Think again.
Life's too short to wait for the wrong one.
